Smok
Smok was a Polish diskmag. It was mostly in the Polish language, but it also had a tiny English corner. Its editor was Astra of Adrar Design. You can download Smok from scene.org (about 200 downloads per issue). Both of the two issues work with DOSBox.
Smok #1
Issue 1 of Smok was released in May 1995. Its English corner contained only two articles: the introduction and a Polish scene report. Both of these articles were written by Astra. In the introduction Astra talked about his group Adrar Design. The Polish scene report contained information on some Polish scene groups. The engine featured several designs which you could choose on the startup of the mag. It was coded by Heya of Adrar Design. The graphics were simple but had a high contrast to the text, which made it very well readable.
Smok #2
Smok #2 was from August 1995. The English corner was a bit bigger than in the previous issue, but only a bit: It contained an updated version of the Polish scene report, a party report about the Computer Art Festial 1995, a newscorner, a text about a Polish scene WWW site and a message corner. The design of the issue was the same as in the previous one. The level of English was pretty good. It's a pity that there weren't more contents.
